UPCOMING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC APPEARANCES
Wednesday, January 25th - POLKA VARIETIES CLUB montly meeting, kickoff the new year by joining the Buffalo Polka Varieties Club, as their new leadership team takes control, President Bill Janius invites you to attend the meeting at the Leonard Post on Walden Ave, Cheektowaga, NY. Music from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm. Admission only $8.00 and includes free beer and pop, coffee and deserts, plus music by the New Direction Band.
Sunday, March 4th - United Polka League of Utica, NY presents the New Direction Band at the Roselawn Banquet House, 446 Main Street, New York Mills, NY. Music from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm for information call Bob at (315) 736-5030.
Sunday, March 18th - St Patricks Polka Party at the Potts Banquet Hall, music 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Corned Beef and Cabbage Buffet $7.95. Admission to the dance $7.00.
Saturday, March 24th - Easter Time at the Broadway Market. Music by the New Direction Band from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Come due your Easter shopping at the Broadway Market, Buffalo's largest indoor market.
Monday, April 9th - DYNGUS DAY at the POLISH VILLA II - the New Direction Band will be featured from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm followed by the Buffalo Touch 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, the New Direction Band is back up on stage from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm followed by the Piatkowski Brothers from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am.
Thursday, May 22nd - Buffalo Polka Boosters Monthly Meeting - Polish Falcons Hall, Columbia and Warner, Depew, NY. Music: 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Short meeting at 9:00 pm. Admission $8.00 includes refreshments. Cal Chris for more information (716) 892-7977.
Saturday, June 23rd - Lackawanna Festival, Vertern's Stadium, South Park Ave. The New Direction Band is back at this outdoor festival. We play from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
JUST ANNOUNCED: Saturday, September 22nd - POLISH KNIGHT featuring THE BOYS from Baltimore and the New Direction Band at the Fr. Justin Knights of Columbus Hall, 2735 Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY. 7:00 pm - 12:00 Midnight. Admission: $15.00 for tickets and table reservations call Jim Brado (716) 668-1714. Come hear the Boys as they make their only WNY appearance. Out of town guests can stay at the Oak Tree Inn for $59.99 per night, just ask for the Polish Knight special. Door open at 6:00 pm.
